Logic statements are a good way of constructing a specific set of questions which are based around how the question is answered.

For example, If Question 1 was answered with an answer of 'Yes', then you could ensure that the preceding question would be Question 3 instead of showing Question 2.

The steps on how to achieve this outcome is detailed below:

You need to have created your answer sets and questions that you would like to see on your questionnaire in the Questionnaire Library.

Now I will explain how to set up the logic on the questionnaire using an example of Q1, Q2 and Q3.

If you access questions and select Q1 where you can click on properties from the right hand side where you should see the fields Logic Statement and Logic Title. Select Logic Title and name this field 'Question1' and select the save icon.

You would then select your preceding question which in this example is Q2, where you would open the properties section and enter in your logic statement which is taken from your Logic title from Q1 and will be dependent on how the question should be answered. The logic statement would read question1="Agree"

Once this questionnaire is set to live and imported into an audit, you would see Q1 and if the user selects the answer Agree for this question, then it would automatically show the preceding question which would be Q2 but if the user decided to answer ' Disagree', then the question that the user would see would be Q3 as this is the next question in the sequence that is not dependent on the answer set you have created.
