Pentana Audit: Message "You cannot set this [record type] to Approved until all the child Points are Approved", though all visible Points are set to Approved
The problem behaviour is as follows:
- When attempting to Approve a record in an Audit, you see the error message:

You cannot set this [record type] to Approved until all the child Points are Approved" e.g. You cannot set this Objective to Approved until all the child [record type] are Approved" |
- A parent record on the data grid may show the Points icon, but this does not expand when clicked
- Going into Points on the spine, you don't find any Points that are not Approved
This issue can appear as a result of a temporary problem with the main service, where the service creates a record for the Point but does not add the parent AuditID value.
In order to resolve this, Ideagen Support will need to prepare a custom fix script to run against the database.

This issue can appear as a result of a temporary problem with the main service.
The issue is cleared after a restart of the service’s application pool, but there may be additional issues that need investigating – more information here: Pentana Audit: Logged error "Could not fetch business rules because query of type Behavior could not be executed"
