Views present in v5.2 will be removed during the upgrade to v5.3.

This is an unavoidable side-effect of the changes and improvements to the dashboard functionality – it was necessary to change how views are saved, and the newer mechanism is not compatible with the older one. 

This means that unfortunately users will have to recreate their views after the upgrade is complete.
