Ideagen Internal Audit is a traditional client-server application that may be hosted by Ideagen or on-prem by the customer.

This article contains the supported system requirements for the current version of the solution.

1. Server requirements

Microsoft Windows Server

Internal Audit is supported on the following versions:

• Windows Server 2019
• Windows Server 2016
• Windows Server 2012 R2
• Windows Server 2012

.NET Framework

.NET Framework is required for Internal Audit to function:

• Version 6.0.14 of Internal Audit is only supported on .NET 4.8.
• Version 5.4 and 6.0.13 of Internal Audit are supported on lower versions of .NET.

Microsoft's support of .NET follows the lifecycle policy of the Operating System on which it is installed.

Running Internal Audit on .NET 5 (and above) is not supported.

Microsoft SQL Server

Internal Audit is supported on the following versions:

• SQL Server 2019
• SQL Server 2017
• SQL Server 2016 (extended support end date - 14th July 2026)

2. Client requirements

Microsoft Windows

Internal Audit is supported on versions of Windows which are still supported by Microsoft.

Future versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 supported by Microsoft will also by supported unless stated otherwise.

.NET Framework

.NET Framework is required for Internal Audit to function:

• Version 6.0.14 of Internal Audit is only supported on .NET 4.8.

Browsers

Internal Audit is supported on devices using the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer 11
• Microsoft Edge
• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox

Only the latest browser version is supported.

Minimum screen resolution for both the desktop client and the web interface is 1024x768, however a widescreen aspect ratio is recommended.

We are only able to provide support for only the latest released version.
