Decommissioning Retain
Who is this article for?Administrators responsible for managing the system.
IT Administrator access is required.
This is a landing page for Ideagen Internal Audit customers wanting to understand how to remove Retain from their system.
1. Decommissioning process
Start by reviewing time recording and budgeting in Internal Audit, with particular reference to differences between it and Retain.
If you have the software installed on your own servers, follow the procedure required for decoupling the Retain sync and removing the Retain client from your ClickOnce download.
This is an important step. Removing Retain without correctly disabling the sync can cause problems with reporting aggregated time and cause the Robot service to fail.
After that, you can uninstall Retain.
