Adding newer standard views to upgraded instances
Who is this article for?Users who started using Ideagen Internal Audit prior to v6 and who want the newer set of standard views.
No special access or permissions are required.
Ideagen Internal Audit is supplied with a set of standard views, accessed through the General tab in many of the modules.
New standard views were added for new installations at v5.3 and v6.0, but were not added during upgrades.
If you have a system that was installed before v6.0 and is now at v6.0.1.x then you can use the files attached to this article to add the newer standard views.
1. Checking starting version
To check your system's original version:
- Go to Analysis.
- Switch to the General tab.
- Check the set of views.
If you started at v5.2 or earlier, these views will be missing:
If you started at v5.4 or earlier, these views will be missing:
2. Importing new views
To import the attached views:
- Check you are currently running v6.0.1.x.
- Click the Logo button.
- Hover over Import.
- Select Import Views.
- Browse to the .views file that you need.
- Click Import.
If the import is successful, you will see the following dialog:

Below are two files:
- Internal Audit - views new in v5.3.views - Import this one if your system was installed at v5.2 or earlier
- Internal Audit - views new in v6.0.views - Import this one if your system was installed at v6.0 or earlier
You should import these files only if you are currently using v6.0.1.x.
