Making Entities inactive

Users who need to deactivate entities in the system.
Admin Universe permissions are required
When deactivating an entity, you must ensure all associated items are closed or approved to avoid system restrictions.
1. Understanding the inactive entity requirement
When attempting to make an entity inactive, you may receive the following message:
Note: You cannot make the combination of 'Entity' and 'Process' inactive because it includes active items.
This message indicates that there are still active items linked to the entity that must be resolved before the entity can be deactivated.
Important: Making an entity inactive removes all mapped processes.
2. Preparing the entity for deactivation
Before marking an entity as inactive, you must ensure the following conditions are met:
- All Audits linked to that entity are closed
- All Incidents linked to that entity are closed
- All Key Issues linked to that entity are closed
- All Entity Objectives linked to that entity are closed
- All Problems linked to that entity are approved
- All Findings linked to that entity are approved
- All Actions linked to that entity are approved
