Showing a widget on your dash board

Users who want to personalise their dashboard view.
No special access or permission are required
The dashboard allows you to customise your view by adding, configuring and arranging widgets to display the information most relevant to your work.
1. Adding widgets to your dashboard
To add a widget to your dashboard, follow these steps:
- Open the Tiles selector.
- Click on the required widget from the available options.
Widgets are organised into two groups: Charts and Special types.
Note: Each widget can only be selected once on your dashboard.
2. Configuring widget properties
Each widget has properties that you can customise to control its appearance and visibility.
To configure a widget:
- Select the widget you want to edit.
- Access the widget properties.
- Edit the widget name if required.
- Set the visibility level to private, public or global.
3. Managing widget layout and display
You can customise how widgets appear and behave on your dashboard using the following options:
- Add or remove widgets as needed
- Move widgets using drag and drop functionality
- Resize widgets from Small, Medium, Wide, Large to Extra Large
- Switch orientation between Horizontal or Vertical
- Scale the dashboard to fit your screen size
- Print or export widgets where applicable
Note: The dashboard layout saves automatically when not saved as a view.
4. Refreshing and saving dashboard views
To refresh your dashboard data, follow these steps:
- Click the Refresh button to update widget data.
Note: The refresh function does not update My Open Items, Manager's Audits or My Entities widgets.
To save your dashboard configuration, follow these steps:
- Arrange your widgets as desired.
- Use the save function to store your layout as a view.
- Load saved views when needed to quickly switch between different dashboard configurations.
5. Formatting graph widgets
Graph widgets include a format tab that allows you to customise their appearance.
To format a graph widget, follow these steps:
- Select the graph widget you want to format.
- Open the Format tab.
- Enable or disable legends as required.
- Show or hide titles.
- Display or hide axis values.
