Understanding Risk Filter and Audit Coverage
Who is this article for?
Administrators who need to understand Risk Filter and Audit Coverage.
Administrator access to the Universe module is required.
The Risk Filter and Audit Coverage screen allows you to filter and view audit coverage based on specific risk ratings, with automatic recalculation of coverage percentages and colours based on your selected criteria.
1. Filtering by specific risk rating
A Specific Risk Rating filter is available on the Audit Coverage screen. You can filter the screen to focus on cells that are rated as a Principal risk only, for example, based on the inherent risk assessments captured in the Entity Risk Registers.
The displayed audit coverage percentages and colours are automatically restated based on the selected risk rating.
2. Managing objective types for audit coverage
Some Entity Risks may not be relevant for the purposes of managing audit coverage since they may include detailed operation risks. Therefore an Objective Type property has also been added to the Objective Categories segmentation.
Only the Risks associated with a Principal Objective Category Type will be considered when the Risk Ratings navigator filter is set in the Audit Coverage screen.
