Manually executing Robot jobs
Who is this article for?
System administrators who want to learn to manually execute robot jobs.
System administrator permissions are required.
This article explains how to manually trigger Robot jobs when the Robot service was offline during a scheduled run or when a job must be re-run after a failure.
1. Meeting the prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- Access to the application server
- Permissions to open App Manager and connect to the Robot service
- Knowledge of which jobs are required and their correct execution order
2. Connecting to the Robot service
To connect to the Robot service:
- Open App Manager.
- Select the correct instance.
- Click the Robot tab.
- Connect to the Robot service.
3. Executing the jobs
To execute the required jobs:
- Highlight the job to run.
- Click Execute Robot Job.
