If you are running Internal Audit on a machine that does not have Excel installed (e.g. a server), then use the following method to view the permissions report:

- In Internal Audit, click the Permissions Report button as normal
- Windows will bring up the "Windows can't open this type of file" dialog, at which point you can select another application to try
- Choose a Web browser, which will allow you to download the file
- Copy the file to a machine that has Excel
