There are three types of licences available for Pentana users which are described below:

A Perpetual Licence will last indefinitely and does not have an expiration date.

A Rental Licence will only last for a limited amount of time and will have an expiration date. When using this type of licence, a warning message will appear when they start Pentana to warn them that they are on a limited licence.

An Evaluation Licence is similar to the a rental licence as it can only be used for a limited amount of time but has an expiration date with no grace period.
