Ideagen Internal Audit (Aura): User logging in to the WebUI after upgrade to v6.0.1 receives '404 error'
A user who has successfully accessed the Ideagen Internal Audit (Aura) Web module may find that after the system is upgraded to v6.0.1 they are unable to log back in.
There are two possible problem behaviours:
- The user completes the EULA prompt and is then shown a 404 error, or
- The login process hangs at 'Loading User'
In both cases, pressing F12 and looking at 'Console' in the browser developer pane will show the message "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404"
The workaround is to clear the browser cache of 'Cached images and files'.
You can do this as follows in Chrome/Edge:
- Close all browser windows
- Open the browser
- Press CTRL + Shift + DEL
- This will take you to the following page:
- Chrome: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- Edge: edge://settings/clearBrowserData
- In the dialog box that appears, ensure the following are selected:
- Time Range dropdown: All time
- Checkboxes: Cached images and files
The dialog should look like this:
| Chrome | Edge |
- Click the 'Clear' button
You should now be able to access the Web browser application.
