Managing report templates in the library

Users managing report templates.
No elevated permissions are required.
Report templates are designed to automatically populate data to user specifications. Some standard reports are available by default.
For reports that contain automation (populate) of data from Ideagen Internal Audit, Office 2007 or later is required (docx/xlsx format files). For general file attachments, any version of MS Office can be used.
Adding a template
To add a report template:
- Go to Library.
- Select Reports Library.
- Right-click and select Add.
- Select Add Report Template, or select add from the ribbon.
- Select the template from your local computer.
- Click OK.
The template will be added to the library.
To configure the template properties, edit and save the following information in the properties panel:
- Department Library - assign to a department library
- Ref - reference number for the template
- Title - a title for the template
- Category - categorise the template from a pick list
- Active state - set whether the report is live, draft or closed (must be active to appear as an option)
- Global - set whether the attachment is available to all users
- Roles - select whether the attachment is available to certain users only
- Anywhere - select whether the attachment is available anywhere
- Documents - select whether the report can only be attached to specific screens
- File name - the name of the original template file
- File size - the size of the file
- Modified by - name of the person it was last modified by
- Modified time - the time it was last modified
- Populate - read only, shows whether the report has been coded to auto-populate
- Prompt - select whether you want the system to prompt you to choose whether to auto-populate or not
- Perspective - the primary aim/focus of the template
Deleting a template
To delete a report template:
- Go to Library.
- Select Reports Library.
- Right-click the template you want to delete.
- Select Delete from the menu. select delete from the ribbon.
