Managing audit report templates

Users managing audit report templates.
No elevated permissions are required.
Templates are used for standardisation and can be configured to auto-populate with information. For reports that contain automation (populate) of data from Ideagen Internal Audit, Office 2007 or later is required (docx/xlsx format files). For general file attachments, any version of MS Office can be used.
This article outlines how to add and delete audit templates.
Adding a template
To add an audit report template:
- Go to Library.
- Select Audit Reports Library.
- Click Add.
- Select Add Audit Report Template from the menu.
- Select the template from your local computer.
- Click OK.
The template will be added to the library.
To configure the template properties, edit and save the following information in the properties panel:
- Department Library - assign the template to a department library
- Ref - reference number for the template
- Title - a title for the template
- Category - categorise the template from a pick list (see segmentations)
- Active state - set whether the report is live, draft or closed. It must be active for it to appear as an option
- Global - set whether the attachment is available to all users
- Roles - select whether the attachment is available to certain users only
- File name - the source file name
- File size - size of the file
- Modified by - name of the person it was last modified by
- Modified time - the time it was last modified
- Populate - read only. Shows whether the report has been coded to auto-populate
- Prompt - select whether you want the system to prompt you to choose whether to auto-populate or not
Deleting a template
To delete an audit report template:
- Go to Library.
- Select Audit Reports Library.
- Right-click the template you want to delete.
- Select Delete from the menu.
