Where a one user leaves and another joins in order to replace them, it will be necessary to transfer the  licence from the old to the new user.

In this example, Alex A is a Staff user who is Active, and who has an active Identity.

Clicking on Help > About shows the system summary, and shows that 11 Staff licences are currently in use:

To transfer the licence, you first need to remove it from the existing user:

• Highlight the user and set them as not Active: 
  
  
  
  (this has a cascade effect and additionally marks the Identity as not Active):
  
  

Once that is done you can:

• Add the new user (Cameron C)
• Add an Identity for them

These will automatically be Active, and so if you then look at Help > About you will see that overall number of licences consumed remains the same:
