Microsoft have announced that they are "removing the ability to use Basic authentication in Exchange Online for Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), POP, IMAP, Remote PowerShell, Exchange Web Services (EWS), Offline Address Book (OAB), Outlook for Windows, and Mac."

This should have no impact on Ideagen Internal Audit (Aura) systems that are configured to connect to Exchange Online - the only connection we make is via SMTP.  For additional security, Ideagen Internal Audit (Aura) can be configured to use SMTP AUTH.
