You may need to change your Windows account passwords for service users used by Internal Audit. If the password for a service account is changed then it is necessary to change the stored password in various places on the application server.
This article directs you to the relevant users.
1. User locations
1.1. Application Pools
In IIS Manager:
- Review the application pools that are used for the Internal Audit applications.
- Check the Identity for each.
- If the Identity is the Windows user with the changed password, go to Advanced Settings.
- Reset the Identity, re-entering the Domain and User along with the new password.
Test that the change has been successful by browsing to http://server.domain.com/PentanaPRD/Service/TngService.svc.
If browsing the service results in an http 503 error, start the application pool for the Pentana application and try again.
If the 503 error happens again it is likely that the password entered does not match the password on the account. See Error: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable for further detail.
1.2. Robot Service
In Services:
- Locate the Pentana Robot service.
- Review the Log On As column.
- Open Properties for the service.
- Switch to the Log On tab.
- Enter the new password for the service account
Test that the change has been successful by restarting the Robot service.
